APPLP is a chapter of the SEOC (Statewide Education Organizing Committee). We're an independent, parent-led group working to improve the public schools. Our group chooses issues based on what most parents are saying they're concerned about and want to work on. Now we're working to improve the district discipline policy, see alternatives to suspension, and improve parent involvement in the discipline system.
